SURVEY UPDATE! Is yours missing?
12 days ago – Tue, Nov 05, 2024 at 06:59:48 AM

Surveys are out. The vast majority of surveys are turned in already! Thank you! So speedy. That really helps us keep this train chugging away.

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR SURVEY, this next part is for you...

I have run into one issue that I might have just figured out with the help of one of your fellow backers. IF YOU SIGN INTO KICKSTARTER WITH YOUR APPLE ID there is a very good chance that your email address is hidden from us. It will show up looking something like this...

[email protected]

... a string of random numbers and letters followed by "@privaterelay.appleid.com." If you have not received your survey from BackerKit (and especially if you sign into Kickstarter with your Apple ID), please check your email address and/or reach out to me in a message so I can verify that I have a functional address for you.

And thanks again for all your speedy responses! SO HELPFUL! Talk soon. BYYYYYYYYYE.

Check your inboxes! Surveys are out!

Greetings!

Please check your emails! It took some tinkering but I've sent you all a survey through BackerKit. I think you'll find it to be a very easy, simple, and comprehensive questionnaire that insures we get all necessary information to fulfill your orders accurately and as quickly as possible.

If you ordered t-shirts, you'll choose your color and size. You'll give us your most up-to-date shipping addresses. And you'll be able to purchase additional items, some included in the initial campaign AS WELL as some items NOT included in the initial campaign. Things like Snarlagon (kaiju comic), ApocalpyptiGirl (post-apocalyptic sci-fi OGN), and more weren't original available because they were unrelated to AGATHA. Also a few brand new surprises and exclusive deals!  This is a GREAT way to save on shipping!

BUT BE WARE! Oh, that sounded spooky. Ordering on BackerKit ends in a little more than a week (November 10). I'd give you more time to shop but I don't want to delay shipping. So get those surveys and orders in quickly and I'll get your stuff in the mail ASAP!

More soon! And as always, thank you so much! -LWA

Keep an eye out for your surveys!

The books are at the printer. The toys are in the molds.

Keep your eyes peeled. We are working on the surveys as we speak. Things like t-shirts can’t be ordered until you've selected your size and color, so the sooner you respond to those surveys the sooner we’ll be able to get you your goods.

Surveys will be sent out through Backer Kit. If you’re unfamiliar, they do a great job collecting data as well as offering you items that weren’t available in the initial Kickstarter campaign. So those of you who were looking to snag copies of Snarlagon, now’s your chance!

That’s it for now! Look for that survey soooooooon!

LAST MINUTE STRETCH GOAL!
about 2 months ago – Tue, Sep 24, 2024 at 02:02:06 PM

With less than 20 hours left on the campaign we are VERY close to $60K. If we can get to $60K, I will add a behind-the-scenes/sketchbook section to the comic. I have enough, rather nice, drawings to fill 6-8 pages of sketchbook. So splurge on that item you were considering and share this project with your friends and family, and we'll be able to get it up over $60K for a very STRONG finish.

Almost done! Thank you all so much! See you at the finish line...

Tales of swords, sorcery, and MONSTERS!
2 months ago – Sun, Sep 08, 2024 at 12:31:52 PM

Thanks to you all, the Agatha campaign is moving along at a steady clip. Thanks you so much!

I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few other projects on Kickstarter right now by some of my friends. Two in particular.

CRIMSON FALL: The Shore Tower
by Derek Laufman

I've been a fan of Derek's for awhile. His art style is really fun. Cartoony but not overly cute. If you're familiar with my work at all, I think its easy to see why I'd like Derek's. I'd say we're cut from the same cloth. He's got strong shapes, great character acting, fun designs. I could go on but maybe just check out this great artwork instead...

In Derek's words, "Sir Duncross, the infamous monster hunter and his humble scribe Father McKellen are hired to kill the fabled monster of Shore Tower Island. However, the secrets of the island run deep and when the power of an ancient god is unleashed they soon learn they are the ones being hunted."

I've also had the pleasure recently of working with the letterer, Lyndon Radchenka, on another one of my creator owned projects, Death Fight Forever. I would be remiss if I didn't highlight his next big project...

DIRE BEASTS: A Monster Anthology

You had me at "monster", or maybe it was "beasts." There is maybe nothing I enjoy more than monsters, and this anthology of 14 stories had only one rule: each story must contain a creature. I love that. Simple. Perfect.

From the campaign: "If you enjoy short, terrifying tales, this book is for you. Will the heroes survive, or become the monster they set out to destroy? Featuring horror, noir, fantasy, sci-fi, and comedy, no story is alike. Whether you want a new take on a familiar monster, or to discover one yet unknown, DIRE BEASTS is sure to leave you craving more!"
